"Must if you desire to study not just read" according to Gabe and Sophie. This book is a must if you desire to study not just 'read' the Bible. The hermeneutical definitions and the way they are defined is very well designed from a writing standpoint. I majored in Professional Writing and Rhetoric and study the Bible as well as its historical background and translation. I have to say this book is very, very well structured and written but may be overwhelming for the lay person. A good introduction would be his updated version of Torrey's Difficulties in the Bible. A suggestion to the reader is that it takes a lot of ti. Great no nonsense system for deep study The system presented in this book for intelligently studying the bible is very thorough and yes does require you to spend a bit of good money on some great learning tools but what better subject to spend money on than learning the truth about our Father for ourselves instead of being spoon fed? Expect to spend anywhere between $50 to $300 dollars in great study books to assist you. The author gives you a variety of study tools in different price ranges that will fit your budget..
