DESCRIPTION:
A good read for a summer night Trisine I've been working my way through this series this summer and I can't get enough. I love the characters, the mysteries are plotted well, and the reading experience definitely beats watching TV. I'm also interested in some new storylines that were set up in this book and wondering where things wil. Vividee said Good read. This is the first Gen Delacourt book for me. I like Gen a lot. Mack is likeable, but he has an odd standoffishness. Maybe he has had more interaction/personality in previous books. But there was so much UNsaid, I never had a clue what he felt or thought about Gen and their relationship. The story. She did not disappoint. Her smooth and intelligent style of writing along Babydolllady I was already a fan of Molly Greene's having found and read "Mark of the Loon" (*****), so when she offered a prerelease copy of "Swindle Town" I could not pass. She did not disappoint. Her smooth and intelligent style of writing along with her extensive research into topics addressed is amazing
Private Investigator Gen Delacourt plunges deep into San Francisco's exclusive, high-end bar scene when she's hired to find a rash of missing wine bottles. As the mystery unfolds, her search leads away from the wayward empties and into the moneyed lair of a hidden extortionist. Everyone she encounters is wearing a mask, and the players' deception spells danger for Gen, and, finally, pits her between two women who want the same guy. Can this savvy detective save Shiloh James, childhood friend of the man she loves?
