California, here we are. In book three, Yorick and Company have finally reached Dr. Mann's lab in California and begin researching what made Yorick immune from the plague. The story clearly moves into stage 2 in this volume, although there were some bumps along the way.On the good front, character development continues to be top notch with this series. Few comics I've read even try for the level of complexity this series handles with ease. Dr. Mann in particular is given a lot more to do than usual.On the downside, the reintroduction of an old character leads to a number of weird issues with the timeline, as wel.
