DESCRIPTION:

Doubt Should Bring Investigation Richard R. Blake This book is the story of one man's quest for answers to life's meaning. Blanch deals with the historic problems of religion, obstacles to believing in God and obstacles to believing in evolution. Jack introduces scientific data and historic facts that parallel evidence found in the scriptures. He than introduces the claim of scripture to be the word of God. He leads the reader to consider the testimony of Bible that proclaims that Jesus Christ is God in human form.Blanch shares his own discovery of a personal relations. "Flawed non-scientific analysis" according to A. Ragsdale. Mr. Blanch provides some personal evidence to support his position. He, however, fails on a grand scale with the promised thoughtful analysis. Blanch insulted me early in his book, as he did (in my opinion) billions of non-Christians. In referring to a struggling agnostic, Blanch states (pg. 11) "To live with no meaning to life and the belief that there is nothing beyond death was agonizing to him. It should be to any of us." The "It should be to any of us" statement is a really insulting to me.Early in the book, Blanc. "An engaging, thoughtful book aids our search for meaning" according to Amazon Customer. I believe readers will enjoy the personal journey along with the intellectual stimulus that this book offers. I find the author's experiences to be of real interest to anyone seeking answers to big questions in life. This book is very honest and open in its approach to the meaning of life, of our lives.

He gives us food for thought out of his own search for God and his years of reasoning with doubting students on the campuses of both the U.S. and Europe, where he lived for over 20 years. Jack Blanch reasons with us through significant issues with an open-minded approach to God. He will stimulate you to find your own answers.
