DESCRIPTION:
The two men, separated by hundreds of years, race against the clock in this engaging sci-fi thriller that challenges us to ask ourselves two questions: Who are we and what are we doing here?. The brilliant but arrogant physicist James Carpenter is put in charge of the investigation and will stop at nothing to find the truth. Two hundred years in the future, astronaut Daniel Novikov has his own problems to deal with. When the Curiosity rover uncovers a human skull buried beneath the surface of Mars, humankind is faced with one of the most challenging and troubling enigmas it has ever encountered. However, pitfalls abound because in the universe of Vastitas, nothing is what it seems and the very logic of space and time is questioned. After a worldwide conspiracy leaves the human race struggling to survive, Daniel comes to the realization that only he has the knowledge needed to avert disaster. But no amount of experience could have prepared him for what he encounters in outer space
Compelling Sci-Fi Novella! Vastitas by Author L. G. BittarAlthough I have not read many books in the Science Fiction genre, I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Author L. G. Bittar pens a captivating plot as he describes time travel and the challenges it poses for the three protagonists in this fast paced novella.Richard Zimmerman and James Carpenter are mysteriously tied together although they lived two hundred years apart. Richard has no recollection of why he is so intrigued by J. Vastitas. Lisa Vastitas was a difficult book for me to get into, but that only lasted for the first 2 chapters. The only reason they were difficult was because of the science. I don't science! It's like someone trying to explain quantum physics to me. But, once I got past that, this story wouldn't let go until I was finished, and what a finish it was. The converging storylines were riviting. I'd definitely read more from this author, and yep, I'd recommend this novella and author.. thebookandi said Three men, two dilemmas, divided by centuries, entwined and enmeshed into one great story..
