I was amazed to find it was written by someone who lived in Cincinnati, Ohio and who flew pigeons with my former boyfriend's brother and other folks I grew up with. It is one of the best books on uph. "Great Reference Book" according to Amber Margheim. I am opening an upholstery for furniture. This book has been a fount of knowledge and wisdom. One book I would absolutely recommend to anyone starting out. Covers evolution of furniture and handy graphs and figures for finding out what you need. The 1st edition is great. . Five Stars Donna Davis Audel books are always excellent. This is no exception
