uncle monarch Bought the book to use in class for students doing an art project. Like to read story to go along with project. Also multicultural book. Best for 3rd and over although it depends on the maturity of kids. Handles death of her uncle with sensitivity. Kids liked it and projects were successf. "Sad and Sweet story - a lovely read with an uplifting message." according to Amazon Customer. The book was a lovely presentation for my students of Dia de los Muertos NOT being about just skulls and skeletons. Accessible to lower grades (2nd - 5th). I got another copy for my personal collection and to gift this Christmas as well.. Great story! Heidita Loved it
