Tools and Gadgets would be an excellent choice for anyone to get information on tools in use in historic living history settings or the various "tools of the trade" that were in use in nineteenth century American trades and occupations -- The Fine Tools Journal, Summer 1998
"Cute and Interesting book" according to Batfan7. This is a great book for describing common pioneering items that have since become obsolete. Many of the things described I had no idea what they were and would not have guessed just by looking at them. This would be a great book to read along with any of the 'Little House' books or just before visiting any American History museums.. "eh" according to Asllady. Looks locally published. Not the best binding, but interesting content. It's also not very thick. I would equate it to a very interesting online article.
