DESCRIPTION:
"Full of lists articulating things that every parent has probably thought of at some point, but simply hasn't had the dedicated pen or writerly chops Good has."
Each list captures a perfect (or perfectly terrible) aspect of parenthood while wholeheartedly embracing every moment: "You Deserve a Break" offers ideas for downtime, such as giving blood and untangling cords, while "Self-Help from a Three-Year-Old" collects such wisdom as "If you fall down, stay down. Jason Good delivers a laugh-out-loud reminder that everything is easier and more fun when approached with a sense of humor--especially parenting. Someone will pick you up eventually." Sweet, sincere, and oh-so-true, this is the ideal gift
"Five Stars" according to Georgia bound. Very funny book!. Kindle Customer said Ridiculously amazing book. In the process of going from blog to book, I’ve seen so many writers ditch the raw nerve and conversational tone that made people fall in love with their magnificently brilliant thought vomit in the first place. Not Jason Good. In list after list he consistently manages to be authentic and laugh out funny without being bitter or obvious. I couldn’t pick a favorite list or even my top ten, because they were all bril. A book of lists of parenting experiences than any parent can relate to and get a few grins from reading I'm always up for a good laugh. I don't often get those laughs from books I read, but occasionally it can happen. When I was offered a review copy of this book, I took it in hopes that it would offer me a few good laughs, and it did. The book isn't fantastic, but it certainly isn't dull, and there are plenty of things in the book that all parents will be able to relate to.Like the title says, this is a book of lists, as such,
