"Five Stars" according to Infidel. Outstanding read.. "Stories of German soldiers at war" according to Donald D. Goodrich. Good stories of the front line soldiers of the German armed forces, interesting stories and gives insight to their plights, and their situations on the fronts as they fought to defend Germany. Beware I really don't want to give any star for this book for which Amazon.com or the publisher has omitted to give important details here. This book is in fact the soft copy version of a book by the same author pubished in 2001 called "Servants of Evil: New First-hand Accounts of the Second World War from the Survivors of Hitler's" which I already have in my collection of WWII books. I actually bought it from Marketplace in Amazon.co.uk also with such an important omission there. What a ripoff! Its contents however deserve at least Beware Andrew I really don't want to give any star for this book for which Amazon.com or the publisher has omitted to give important details here.
