As mentioned on another of her books, the theme is the same in each one (Indian tribe, priest, lawyer, Lander, WY) but the mystery they solve is different.. Not only do these books deal meaningfully with major concerns facing the Native Americans on reservations in the US, they are also fascinating psychological studies and exciting mystery narratives.
