Published in 1961 by the University of Washington Press, this engaging book was written by jolly Dutchman BJD Meeuse. I took a class from him while studying botany at UW called Reproductive Biology of Flowering Plants. His book as well as his lectures were animated and draws the student into the amazing world of nature. Mr. Meeuse studied under Niko Tinbergen, another Dutchman and famous biologist at Oxford U in England, who in turn had several famous doctoral students including Richard Dawkins. This boo
