DESCRIPTION:

This Book is the Bomb! (In a bad pun, good way.) When my daughter was ~3 weeks old I was searching on google for something, I think it was using pacifiers or something. It was a serious search. I needed real information. What I found was was Jeff Vogel's journal of his time with his little girl. Only snippets mind you, as the book was in production at this point. Although it was not what I was looking for, it provided what I*really* needed more than anything else at that time - tears-down-my-face laughter that continued until it burned. My husband also benefited from this therapeutic read.Needless to say. FXG said This book helps you take the stress out of being a new parent.. This book gives you a realistic peek into what it's really like and what to expect. Many books try to do that, but what I think makes this book so great is that the author is so honest about what he went through: the not knowing, the mistakes, and the feeling that you are a terrible parent. By reading what this guy went through and felt, it puts you more at ease about what's happening to you as a new parent. His website was funny before I became a daddy, but the material really took on new meaning after the twins came and I had to clean up my first few "poo bombs". The new "interlude" sections are a welcome addition, and the whole book is well worth the price.I look forward to the next book!

If it were anything else, you’d take it back to the store and exchange it for one that works. After all, if babies expect us to feed them and carry them around and teach them to talk and give them ponies and cars, it’s only fair for us to get to sit around and make fun of them sometimes.. Rich with irreverent honesty and humor, The Poo Bomb is the reality show of parenting books. It reflects what most parents have sometimes guiltily felt about their not-so-delightful bundles of joy. The Poo Bomb: True Tales of Parental Terror recounts, with terrifying honesty, the first year of life of Cordelia, a freshly hatched, gooey hu
