Jill D. Hoffmann said Praise from a horse lover--"Wow, get this book". I came across this book while I was shopping today and picked it up to take a look. I expected to find the usual nice photos with the standard unremarkable texts I had come to expect in books such as these. But, what a surprise! Gorgeous photos matched by an enjoyable and interesting narrative full of fascinating facts covering the origins, history and characteristics of each breed depicted. I could not put this book down.. Horse lovers unite! Ta H Behind this book! More than a beautiful coffee table book, with it's exquisite photographs and short breed descriptions, it is a must for any horse lover. A painless way, also, by the way, to learn some history, as she explains and describes the evolvement of each breeds background. And again, lest I wasn't clear, the achingly beautiful photographs of one of the most divine creatures on earth.. JulietRHarrison said Impressive.
