The book is written by a non professional with no scientific or medical knowledge or experience. The material is remanufactured by someone who has no idea how to write or proofread. Don't waste your time.. Total waste of money and time What this book essentially is is a 26 page introduction to a REAL book about the ketogenic diet. I agree with other reviewers that it should have been proof read before being published. It read like some high-schooler's term paper. It ended essentially this way: "Thank you so much for buying and reading my book. I wish you all the best with this diet even though I have offered little more than a sketchy outline of what you should eat and do be careful that you are super careful about what you do eat, because it can kill you if you do it wrong.". Move Over Dr. Atkins! Sampson Sharpe's latest offering is not your typical "all fluff and no meat" Kindle diet-book. In fact--It's virtually ALL meat! And I mean that both literally AND figuratively! Literally, the Ketogenic Diet is a protein-based nutrition program which promotes the use of fat being burned for energy, rather than carbohydrates, starches, etc. Figuratively, Mr. Sharpe's book is cover-to-cover sound and USEABLE CONTENT--no "filler" here--unless you mean the "filling" meals you will be enjoying on this very practical, very DO-able diet!
