DESCRIPTION:
The Joy of Smoking is a collection of humorous illustrations about smokers who will go to almost any lengths for a nicotine hit. Instead of villifying or humiliating smokers, these images hilariously portray the stupidity of the habit in such a way that tobacco addicts can't help but laugh at themselves as they consider, or shall we say reconsider, their behavior. But smokers are not the only targets here--watch out tobacco media advertizers! The Joy of Smoking's non-verbal presentation appeals universally to people of all cultures and ages.. The book succeeds in tickling the funny bones of smokers and non-smokers alike, as it broaches the subject of tobacco addiction
A Customer said Have a loved one who you want to quit smoking?. Well, you can do it humorously, subtley and tactfully with this book. It does not contain any literature, but color pictures on each page, which depict characters smoking during many daily activities, such as reading the paper. Each illustration is sure to give you a chuckle. Besides being a great coffee table book and a conversation piece, it could save somebody's larynx!. Chebacco said Makes fun of smokers. If you like or liked Skip Morrow work, you will like these cartoons. The subject is irrelevant. It is a fun book to leave on a coffee table. It is big enough and has a cover that is hard to be ignored. It is not a book to read at one sitting. You will get tired of the subject matter. Skimming through it from time to time is best. It is good short term reading for the bathroom! Each time you look at a cartoon, you will see something new. I would buy it again and recommend it to a friend. Ninety percent of it was funny to me.
