Our hearts were no different. When the Amazon package arrived my 3 year old tore into it like it was her birthday. After reading the book she declared she likes Larry, and especially liked seeing him hang out with the "kids" at the beginning. She also cited how Larry "met and got along with so many animals!" However she stayed engaged the whole time asking questions and when we finished she immediately asked to read it again. Then today at dinner she asked to read the "scarey lizard book" - at first I didn't know what she was referring to then I remembered Larry and asked her if that was it and she got all excited and started laughing and said "Yes, the Larry Lizard book - he's not scarey mommy."
