Characters were more 3D like, and hey what girl wouldn't want to meet our leading man Ethan. His character was very well described and it was consistant throughout.Love how the author did show she has a good knowledge of the tarot cards along with their use and myths surrounding them. They actually played a full part in this book, unlike the palm reading in her other novel.Storyline was good, and thoroughly enjoyed the company of the quilters. (would love to see them in their own book where they become super sleuthslol)I won't go into detail about the. Arwen Nightstar said Excellent. CAVEAT: While I am not best buds with her, I do chat with the author on Twitter and Facebook and have done an interview with her about this book. I bought the book. It was not given to me.Gleason is an author I like. I loved her vampire series. This is a paranormal suspense but the paranormal is very very light. Tarot cards figure significantly in this book.I did not read the first in this series but didn't feel that I needed to. I was immediately engrossed in the story.
