Caught by surprise I was at REI looking for paddling guides. I saw the title of this book and rolled my eyes, which of course meant that I needed to investigate further. Just to be sure it wasn't as bad as it originally seemed to be. I glanced at the author's name, flipped quickly to the back cover, and realized: holy crap. This is my eighth grade teacher!
