an unusual lady tells her story W R Visser What strikes most in this book is the clear, honest and unpolished way Marie Helvin tells us about her life. Which is, I think, pretty unusual for a Hawaiian girl that ended up as one of the world's leading fashion models.It's all there: the glitter & shine, the travelling, the expensive h. Jeanajoan said Maybe style but no substance. I couldn't finish it. The only reason I got it was because I remembered her from the fashion magazines.dull stuff even with big names and high living.
