Entertaining W. Van Der Waal I chose this book because I regularly read his articles in SA Flyer magazine and I really enjoy them. His articles are based on his actual experiences as a "bush" pilot in and around Africa, they are humorous and informative. When this book became available on Kindle, I had to have it.After having read it, I can only assume that this his his first book, and by comparison to his articles about flying, I find his excessive. "One Star" according to Mike Peter. Found it somewhat infantile, might be interesting to young teens.
All is not innocence and integrity in the boardrooms of big businesses where the aviation game is played, a truth that can seriously undermine the trust and confidence placed in the airline industry by the travelling public. This is a story of the kind of skulduggery common in the rarefied atmosphere of high finance. It tells what happens when things go wrong, particularly when you mix aeroplanes in with the brew.
