DESCRIPTION:
Amazon Customer said It's worth it but could be better. This book overall needs some work. Multiple grammar errors and unformatted charts seem to be a theme throughout the short read. But I will say I am glad I read it. It is a little over priced in my opinion but I learned a lot about some of the details of getting started in real estate. I personally graduated honors from a ranked real estate university and I stilled learned a good bit from this book that never would have thought of. It is easy to read and a great place to start your education on real estate. I will say it is worth the buy but I wish the author/publisher would have put a little more time and detail. "Wear rose colored glasses, get caught with pants down." according to Mike Phelps. This amounts to no more than a small pamphlet (I read it cover to cover in under an hour). Only includes a positive outlook on rentals and why it is so great. No advice regarding problems with bad renters or evictions, how to deal with insurance, advertising, attorneys, etc. If you want only a rosy look at renting and want to be unprepared, this is a great choice. If you want a realistic look at managing properties, pick a different book.. Cheflady said Excellent book for beginners. This is a great book for people who our new to the real estate market. He touches on some important topics and stresses that this is a get rich slowly project.
