This dry history could have been further relieved by some more photographs. They are around.. G&F History A good write up about the history of the G&F. I lived within 15 miles of the G&F and have ridden many a mile on the several parallel roads through Burke County.. "Five Stars" according to Eunice C Spooner. I thoroughly enjoyed this book especially since my dad worked for the G&F RR !
