Five Stars EKH Must read. "A punch to the gut ." according to J P Romack. This is surely the most provocative and deeply troubling book I have read in many moons. It is a provocation in that it has gently forced me to consider or reconsider what discipleship to Jesus Christ is all about in terms of my relationship to the society and culture of which I am a part. It is deeply troubling in that my reconsideration seems to indicate that I, like nearly every other Christian I know, has bought into a way of being Christian which is so overly contentualized to my own cultural scene that it is, at many points, simply colluding with the powers that be rat. Idiots guide to Yoder stillastudent Clear, challenging words from modern Anabaptisms most influencial theologian made accessible to the non academic. Don't read this book if you want to continue to be an invisible Christian.
