"A must-have book for percussionists" according to MD. This book was a pleasant surprise in many ways. I expected to get just a few tricks of percussion maintenance out of it, but this book is far more detailed than I expected. Bonfoey does talk about proper playing techniques when applicable, like muffling the bass drum, but what impressed me the most with this book was the number of problems he was able to solve without buying new equipment. For instance, page 25 details two ways of repairing a tear in a bass drum head. . Victor Sigg said Recommended from a college professor. Recommended from a college professor.
