Superficial treatment of the topic Currently being around chapter 7 of this book, I find it very superficial in handling the topic. The topic of SDN is of course constantly changing and can mean many things to many people. However, looking from an engineer's perspective, the book bring little value to the subject.My biggest complaint is that authors of individual chapters are unable to free from the hype surrounding network programmability and claim performance gains and network optimization possibilities, but there are no concrete examples.
