Really helps them to learn some of the basics.. Very Good for Teaching Vocabulary to Kids I bought this book to teach my three year old some Foreign vocabulary words. The book has lots of colorful photos, all clearly labeled with English words and a phonetic pronunciation. The phonetic pronunciations are all pretty accurate, but there are some that are slightly off, but not enough to worry that you (or your child) is mispronouncing the word and saying something a native speaker would find embarrassing. If you have never studied the language of the book you are buying, be sure you are familiar with phonetic pronunciations like those you would find
