This was one of my first experience with Alan Moore and I was hooked. Volume 3 of this particular Miracleman series is the point at which Moore started to lose me. His writing became much denser and more poetic. When Miracleman travelled to the alien dimension I confess I just zoned out. Between the broken alien English and bizarre concepts I fel. "Miracleman Miracle" according to Jay Osborne. When I first read this back in the late 1980's, I believed it to be the greatest graphic novel of all time. Nothing that has been published in the last 27 years has been able to knock it off the top of Mount Olympus. (Only Promethea came close.) John Totleben's work is amazing. My favorite writer and artist all in one hardcover volume. It is another miracle that it is finely back in print..
