I was going to give this 5 stars, but MICHAEL PALAFOX I was going to give this 5 stars, but I read other reviews. I have to agree the information contradicts NCLEX study books. Chalk it up to being outdated info.. Five Stars Very good. Not great. E. Tenney-Domanski This was the book my program assigned for both Med-Surg I and II, and it was less than ideal. As at least one other reviewer stated, the usable information in this book is buried within wordy text that does not make synthesis an easy task. There are other nursing books out there that are much easier to comprehend, and this subject is made all the harder with an incomprehensible book. Eventually, it simply became easier to find the info I needed through other sources, like the ATI books we had to buy. Avoid this
