A Manual for Ocean Painting Rehana Farooqi I didn't know there was so much to know about the ocean before I can paint it. At least before I bought this book. The author and artist, John Robinson goes in great detail on everything you need to know about the ocean before you paint it. Here he has written an entire book on the subject. Not just a great one, but a pretty good sized one packed with information. He explains in a very easy to understand way. It is really a science of the sea. Very scientific. Like a science course of the ocean. This book is written just like you're tak. Exciting book Rosemary Degowin This book, to me, is the end-all of all water painting 'how-to' books. I am not a professional. I considered myself a mid-level artist. I have started to collect instructional books on watercolor, pastels, oils and acrylic and this is the best one I've found for water in oil or it can be used for watercolor painting.
