Excellent book, great for beginners I thought I knew enough to get me through most minor situations on the water until, of course, I found myself in one that I couldn't get out of alone. Not wanting this to happen to again I was considering a course but thought I would check out a book first. I am sure glad I did as I now understand how to fix the problem that stranded me for six hours in the middle of winter but what maintenance would have prevented it.My engine is running smooth as silk and the satisfaction I have from doing myself was enough to make me think this was a great purchase, besides the cost of maintena.
