"Best Madera Valley history book I've seen!" according to Dwayne. Despite various errors and inaccuracies, this is BY FAR the best book I have read about the history and families of the Madera Valley. I am a descendant of both the Moore and Splittgarber families, and am always looking for any information, or photos regarding my family history. I want to publically thank Darlene Ellison Chandler for putting this book together. A lot of effort was involved collecting the data within it's covers, because most of the areas earlier residents, . "My family history" according to Beverly B.. A lot of my family's history is in the book. I enjoyed every page. My family was mentioned several times in the book. Very interesting.. Love it. Very informative. Love it.
