I thought for sure it was going to be cheesy but it wasn't. It was well written and I love the story and the background and getting to see how students might have felt during those school shootings. I enjoyed the characters and the story. "Nice, sweet story." according to starsaga. Not as good as the book before this. I enjoy this author's writing style and her creation of these very sweet, if flawed characters. They are young, and still have a lot of time to make mistakes and recover from them, but sometimes life deals you a tough hand and so it does to the hero in this book.
