DESCRIPTION:

A brilliant and moving novel This is the best novel I have read in the last twenty years. It is a superb piece of listening, and a superb piece of understanding. There are two main traumas in this book- the recent loss of a much wanted baby girl to sudden unexpected cardiac death and the older loss . Brett H said Anna Was Convincing, Theo Less So. This is a book which has had quite a lot of rave reviews and I was looking forward to reading it. My feelings were, however, a bit mixed. I would say it is very much a book of two parts, one a rather compelling read and the other, well, perhaps not quite in the same lea. Inflicted by Ria Francis Brilliantly written, enjoyed this book so much I couldn't put it down. Loved Anna's character and felt she had gone through so much. Have passed the book on and recommended it to others.
