Novice Bob The book was brief, poorly written, and virtually unedited. The event written about was most assuredly a tragety to all of us there and the families forever more. It is most unfortunate that the author did not have a more esoteric understanding of the complex subject matter that he attempted to write about and the expertise to capture in his writing the true story. The result was simply bits and pieces of news reports, statemen. "Decent Read" according to StoodAbove. I do agree with Bob's review, but without this book, I would have never known of this tragic event. I feel this incident is just as important to the Law Enforcement community as the Onion Field. I would have liked to see more in depth accounts of everything and everyone involved, but all in all, I was glad to read the book, and would recommend the book.. "Sort of sad, really" according to MelNel1029. the author, not the story. The story was tragic. This book was written by what appeared to be someone with a sixth grade education. The same facts were repeated over and over. I read a different book covering the same event, and it put this book to shame. It seemed like minimal effort was spent researching this book. The author, in my opinion, was simply embellishing information that was widely reported by media outlets at the
