Excellent resource on group work! Jon LP I am a math teacher at the high school level, and I have been trying to find how to make group work more effective, as a learning tool and as an essential life skill. I just got a very interesting DVD called `"Heterogenius" Classrooms' , developed by San Francisco State University, published by Columbia University Teachers College. It starts and ends with teachers and administrators touting the value of detracking in math and science. Then it focuses in on group work, and the principles of `complex instruction' - shows a lot of detail a
