Very insightful Hubs This was recommended to me by several people. It is very long and wordy, but the introduction advises you to skip to the parts you need, when you need them. I learned I was already doing most of the things Dr. Weissbluth suggested. My baby sleeps well, but nurses often. This book can't solve that problem! However, the first time I changed my son's nap time according to the book, he slept 2 hours (previously never more than 45). I can see how this book will be helpful to people who want to teach healthy sleep habits. I recommend reading this before your baby is 3 months so you know what to do before he/she starts developing sleep . Opened my eyes to my baby's need for sleep Sarah Yeager This book is amazing! I was alerted to this book by a friend who has kids who are now in their teens, so I was happy to know that the methods had been around for some time. Although some of the information is pretty much what you might read in other books, I appreciate that the author uses hard facts to back up the practices. We realized quickly that our baby wasn't getting enough sleep and she was chronically overtired. I also became more aware of my baby and her cues that I was missing. She was letting me know she was tired, I was just missing it. After moving her bedtime up, and doing a few nights of cry it out, we now have a .
