I actually love Rebecca's descriptive style of writing which kept feeding my imagination and continuously created images and pictures in my mind. And the setting that she has chosen is so rich of this (like the stagecoach inn, and the sinkhole and how it can be utilized in the wild west back then, lol!) I like that a lot when I read a book. For me that is good writing and she does have a talent for it. I also like the way Rebecca uses flashbacks. Amazon Customer said This is probably the best of the Taryn's Camera series. This is probably the best of the Taryn's Camera series, in my opinion. The storyline and ghosts are fascinating. I highly prefer the historical focus of this novel to the prolonged focus on Taryn's personal life that comes up in the next two books. It does bear mentioning that there is a highly detailed rape scene. This was difficult for me to read, so I imagine that it would be horribly triggering for someone who has experienced sexual assault. It is also very difficult to just skip over, because there are so ma
