It's a bit above my playability level just yet in most cases, but there are a few I am willing to give a try that I believe I can have some success with. Overall, very very happy with purchase.. A Customer said Good beginner book. First of all, unless my version is abridged, it has 176 pages. It has the chords in tab form and the vocal melodies are all very accurate. You are not going to find much harmony here but it does give you a place to start if you are the type to find the key, turn on the CD and start picking. Just technical enough to give the beginning guitarist about a year of new material to mess with. If you want so sit around the campfire with a few Head and sing, this is a great book. If you are trying to s. Anthology Tom I purchased this book because I enjoy the music of the Grateful Dead.The music is easy read and easy to learn to play. Obviously some prior music reading is a prerequisiteI'm pleased with it.
