DESCRIPTION:
Frat Fluff Not much to it. Fluff. I didn't know what to expect, so can't say I was disappointed, but not much there.. Thomas King said Twisted. Even with the back of the book description this was not what I expected. After the opening scene, the first few chapters are fratire humor and then it goes through a series of stories about hell week. The author does one chapter from the perspective of a nameless pledge getting hazed and it gives you a real sense of what it feels like to be tortured by a pack of drunk meatheads. Cruelty of Men II is just plain wrong. Then after hell week the story gets dark and twisted and is a sick ride. It's been a long time since I stayed up all night to finish a page turner. Awesom. More?!?!!? John I couldn't put any of these books down and finished all four within a five day period. One of my buddies is hooked as well and I had him start within my five day read streak. Studying be damned I was on a mission to finish these and will most definitely read all of them cover to cover a second time. He mentioned that further involvement in The Scene is a story for future books and I cannot wait for those books. Darren W. Bryce is up there with the best writers of this genre.
Darren Bryce learns this all to well in the fourth book of his controversial memoir series when he returns to FSU and discovers a world that is very different from the life he left behind. Nothing stays the same. This is the uncensored and unabashed truth about college life from a student who lived it to the extreme.. Stories include: Hell Week, date rape, vile pranks, vengeance, betrayal, and the lewdest of campus humor. You can't hold on to the past. Little did Bryce know that the dramatic events that would unfold over the next month would scar his life forever. Especially in Tallahassee
