I can be forgiven for this. After all, when a book's gimmick is identical to that of a beloved childhood toy, you're automatically going to associate the two together. And, I might add, . "Popular among teachers because children have such fun while counting." according to M W Penn. To be precise, mathematicians might interpret the ‘line’ in this book as actually being a series of straight lines and curves, but we shouldn’t be picky: this is one of the most imaginative counting and sorting books around.
