Good stories but terrible narration Conguirk Sadly, the actors in this recording were so awful that I returned the book before finishing it. Mr. Sklar read "The Night Before Christmas" without much apparent understanding of the language, and Ms. Raudman had such an over-the-top, treacly-sweet delivery that I started to feel queasy. Reading more simply would have allowed the power of the words to hold precedence, rather than distract the listener with her gooey style. Also, she r.
