"Was just OK" according to Somersales. I love medical thrillersalways have. Having said that, I need to emphasize the word 'thriller'. This book was not it. I enjoyed the setting. Most of the characters were somewhat believable, but I just had a really hard time believing that some Doctor other than a resident couldn't figure out what was making heart patients of one physician only die while others had no problems. It was just such a stretch to think that no one else could figure it out Quite frankly, I had the plot & villain figured out fairly early.just wasn't that exciting for me. would like to recommend this book to anyone interested in this Peter Herff Well written holds ones attention and a close up look at the drama surrounding heart surgery with all the players that have advanced surgical remedies for fatal heart diseases A real word smith to say the least. would like to recommend this book to anyone interested in this subject from a different perspective. "Fatal Rhythm" according to George R. (Dick) Jenkins. This medical thriller is a fantastic mystery with a significant amount of pure, accurate medical treatments, terminology, and is significantly factual. I highly recommend this thriller to readers who enjoy medical mysteries that contain accurate technology and techniques.
