"Renaissance book of hours" according to History Teacher. This wasn't my favorite book of hours. The edition itself is very nice. It's not a facsimile but it does reproduce every page that has art on it, of which there are many. The essays on the book are well written and information about Clovio (who I was not familiar with, frankly and who is a major artist). , the Farneses and the time period. The problem I had was one of taste. I love books of hours and I guess part of it for me is their medieval devotional feel. This one was (as makes sense for a Renaissance book) more 'classical'.
