John Lyman said Definitely Worth The Money. Great Book.. It's an excellent read. I felt like I was there with the author. I want to climb up (and survive the trek down) Everest some day. Quite honestly, the author gives an honest and upfront dose of what it's like to just have to get into Nepal and Katmandu, not to mention the trek to the base camp. Halfway through the book I was mentally exhausted.. Bootsiesgirl"A trekkers experience during the Nepal quake." according to Bootsiesgirl2. I enjoyed reading about a group of trekkers from Kathmandu to Everest. I love hearing about all of the beauty in each city and the lovely people. The group was rather shielded from the effects of the earthquake, but experienced it in their own way. A bit sad, but mostly a positive commentary of the wonderful people he interacted with.. said A trekkers experience during the Nepal quake.. Blei said Great book. Really brought the experience to life !. I thoroughly enjoyable this book. It's both a travel log and biography, it brinhs to life the beauty of Nepal as well as the disaster that the author got caught up in. I don't usually take the time to leave reviews , but inthis case i thought it was worth the time. A very worthwhile read and worth the time and money!
