DESCRIPTION:
Decent story of becoming sober, kind of hindered by the author's egomania I could appreciate how the author decided that her drinking was out of control and chose to stop. However, in her reviews of her motives and people around her, it almost seems like sobriety is a new platform for her to be superior to others. She is already living a golden life, world travel, money, beauty, thinness, blah, blah, blah. She clai. "Interesting perspective" according to Sharyn Y. It's interesting to hear the perspective of a person of means going through getting sober, and her relationships and interactions with the people she encounters at meetings.. Entertaining Valerie Personally I bought this book because of my alcohol family history. When I began my young adulthood as many, I was struggling finding my identity and always lived with the worry of "what if?". In addition to the humor of the book it has a very good message. Theres always a way out.
