DESCRIPTION:

Ms. S. Cooper said Easy programming for Arduino enthusiasts!. I actually bought the paperback copy of this book, and found it really helpful. I'm a newbie programmer, and I've never dealt with HTTP before. I really struggled to do anything useful with the example sketches that I found on the Arduino website, and had to go in search of a more accessible guide. This author is clearly in tune with the beginner programmer, and has put a lot of thought into what kind of information readers like me would actually find useful. He also does a great job of . "Not for the beginner" according to Electronix Fan. I found it difficult to follow along with the book. A lot of information and code was presented without the benefit of demonstrating the practical application with the Arduino. I would have preferred a more incremental approach where a section of code would be introduced and then upload that code to the Arduino to show what it does.. This book was much better than I expected This book was much better than I expected. I have not built anything (yet) with the techniques mentioned in the book but I have a project in mind (it's in the stack). When I go to build it, I suspect that this book will get dog-eared.

But despite its popularity, few authors have attempted to explain how to use this shield to its full potential - leaving new users and less-experienced programmers to piece together fragments of information. In Connecting Arduino, Bob Hammell guides the reader through the processes and key concepts involved in writing projects that use the Ethernet Shield. All of the information you need, in one place. The Arduino Ethernet Shield is a powerful device for connecting Arduinos to local area networks and to the Internet. You don't need a computer science degree to understand it, only a basic knowledge of how to write Arduino sketches.Using clear, easy-to-follow examples, you will learn how to:Connect your Ard
