This overwhelming affection and respect was fully deserved for the man who was often described as being controversial, outspoken and opinionated. A memorial service due to be held at Derby Cathedral had to be moved to Pride Park to accommodate the fans' demand for tickets. David Stevens said We've lost the best!. When I first received this book from Amazon I was thinking that having also read Clough, The Autobiography, also from Amazon, it was going to be somewhat repetitious. It wasn't. Of course there are still wonderful insights into his exploits at Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and his beloved Derby County which are themselves fascinating, poignant and humorous, but this book delves more into his upbringing, family and his battle with drink that hasn't been seen before, right up to the time he sadly passed away. I really enjoyed this book.It . "Interesting" according to SweetPea. I haven't finished reading it. If you are really interested in Clough, this is good because he tells his story in his own words.. Awesome tj This book was ordered as a Christmas gift for my son. The book arrived on time in perfect condition. It's a great story.
