Roman was a wonderful hero and I was amazed at how Ms. Hardy weaved romance, intrigue, Roman being a Christian, a flighting soldier and a guardian all in one, and so well!I loved how loyal, honorable, faithful and controlled he was.Deirdre had to grow up first but I liked the way Ms. Hardy allowed her to make mistakes yet learn from them quickly, and to see how her love grew for Roman over the years.Whether The Counselor was good or bad had me guessing until we found out, and then there was the surprise about him, which really shocked me!I am now more than happy to check ou.
