A wonderful continuation of the first book Roland Rahn An excellent novel - also I liked the first book more.Mr. Kataczinsky first covers the time from the end of the first novel until the fall of the Nazi regime, after that he moves at a much faster speed to 1948. Again, the problems arising from the time jump are described - for example, the 1940s United States being reluctant to accept the 21st century Americans stranded in Israel as US citizens, while those U. "Excellent follow up to The Shield" according to Amazon Customer. I purchased this book as soon as I heard it had been released. I enjoyed The Shield and was glad of the chance to see how things worked out for the characters from the first book. I did find a few minor typos and grammatical issues that made it past the editors but fewer than I've seen in other Kindle novels. The battle scenes were well done without being overly detailed.
